This opportunity funds investigator-initiated research projects that address critical gaps in Parkinson’s disease (PD) research. Supported by the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), the award is designed for highly rigorous, multidisciplinary, and high-impact research with the potential to advance scientific understanding or treatment of PD. Projects must address at least one of the specified FY26 PRP Focus Areas, which include disease heterogeneity, novel model systems, mechanisms/biomarkers of unmet medical needs, and interventions for PD.
