Description
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s Partnering for Health, Equality and Rights (P4HER) programme strengthens partnerships on gender equality and health in South Africa. This call funds Component 2: coordinated civil society action, coalition-building, constructive accountability and evidence-based advocacy on sexual and reproductive health and rights, LGBTQIA+ rights and equitable access to healthcare.
The programme prioritises women and girls vulnerable to violence and health disparities, alongside marginalised groups including rural communities, LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities. It seeks to strengthen human rights defenders’ capacity to counter domestic and international rollback on rights and influence laws, policies and services. Funded work should create sustainable networks, organisational capacity, tools and knowledge resources that support rights-based advocacy beyond the grant.
