    Description

The Partnerships Small Grants Program aims to foster communication and collaboration among psychology teachers from different institutions. The grant supports planned activities that promote the teaching of psychology, such as conferences, small meetings, or collaborative projects between individuals at different institutions. Examples of eligible activities include interactive or experiential programs for students, the development of mentoring initiatives for future psychology teachers, or the creation of programs that leverage specialized teaching resources across institutions. Grant funds can be used for materials, equipment, fees, travel, and food related to these collaborative activities.

The program encourages applications from colleagues from underrepresented groups and those with diverse backgrounds and experiences. While projects may result in peer-reviewed publications, this is not a requirement. Importantly, research collaborations focused on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) are not eligible for this program; applicants interested in SoTL should consider STP's dedicated SoTL Research Grant. Non-SoTL research collaborations with a significant teaching component are eligible.
