Description
The Bama Works Fund, established by the Dave Matthews Band and managed by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, provides grants to support impactful community initiatives in the City of Charlottesville and the surrounding counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange. Funding priorities include youth development and wellbeing, accessibility of essential needs, environmental protection, and the arts and humanities. The fund does not generally support endowment programs, fundraising events, annual appeals, or grants to individuals. The goal is to foster sustainable and inclusive benefits for the local community.
