--- ## Description The Party Parade Fund, administered by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF), offers grants to support innovative and ongoing projects that address timely and needed issues or opportunities for children and adults in the Charlottesville–Albemarle region and surrounding counties. Projects must directly benefit youth and/or adults and be located within the eligible geographic area. The fund aims to foster positive community impact by supporting organizations committed to serving local needs. --- ## Due Dates - Applications open: April 1, 2026 - Full application submission deadline: May 4, 2026 (applications close at 11:59 PM) Funding decisions are expected in early July 2026. --- ## Funding Amount - Maximum award: Up to $6,000 per grant - Funding is for a single year; the number of grants awarded is not specified. - Funds must be used for the specific purpose approved in the grant agreement and within the specified period. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be tax-exempt organizations as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. - Projects must take place in the City of Charlottesville or the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, or Orange. - Grants are made without regard to sex, race, religion, or national origin. - Fiscal sponsorship is allowed for groups without 501(c)(3) status, provided the fiscal sponsor meets CACF’s requirements (see below). - Schools, governmental, and religious entities are eligible. - For fiscally sponsored projects: - The fiscal sponsor must be a 501(c)(3) in good standing and approved by CACF. - Sponsored applicants must have a written agreement with the fiscal sponsor and submit a completed Fiscal Sponsorship Grant Application Agreement form. - No for-profit businesses or LLCs are eligible. --- ## Application Process 1. **Request Access Code:** Email [grants@cacfonline.org](mailto:grants@cacfonline.org) with your name, organization name, and title to obtain an access code for the Party Parade Fund application. 2. **Complete Application:** Use the access code to enter the CACF Grantee Portal and fill out the Party Parade Fund application.
