    Description

The Pasold Research Fund offers two research fellowship schemes in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and the Museum of London. They subsidise short visits to study museum artefacts and archives, supporting textile history research and work that benefits the host collections over the long term. Both schemes are currently suspended because of collections movement at the museums.

The V&A scheme provides access to its national Textiles and Fashion collection, alongside the National Art Library and Archive of Art and Design. The Museum of London scheme supports research within its textile collections. Fellows can meet relevant museum staff, but neither scheme provides formal research guidance or supervision. Applications require a detailed publication plan and an explanation of how the fellowship period will be used.
