Description
Pathmaker funds the development and expansion of training programs preparing Massachusetts residents for high-demand life sciences careers. The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) supports the life sciences solicitation within a broader initiative administered by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Development with state partners. The program connects training providers and employers around accessible training, quality jobs, measurable employment outcomes, and long-term career advancement.
The life sciences program emphasizes biomanufacturing and medtech/advanced manufacturing, while considering other employer-supported career pathways individually. Investment priorities include low-income and underrepresented communities and people without significant industry experience or related higher education. Training providers may also seek Pathmaker validation for existing programs without requesting funding, demonstrating alignment with industry standards and required core competencies.
