Description
Alkermes’ Pathways APN Research Awards support research led by licensed psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners. The program recognizes the perspectives that nurses working in clinical, academic, and community health settings bring to evidence-based care. Its focus is schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder, with the aim of deepening understanding of these conditions and informing clinical practice.
Projects may use quantitative or qualitative methods, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, or systematic reviews and meta-analyses. An Alkermes product is not required. An independent committee of researchers selects awardees, considering the potential impact and scientific rigor of proposed work, among other criteria.
