--- ## Description The Patient Advocacy Organization (PAO) Sponsorship Program by Ionis Pharmaceuticals provides financial support to qualified not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations. The program is dedicated to fostering ethical, transparent, and independent collaborations that help PAOs understand patient needs, advance disease education, and raise awareness about the experiences of individuals and families affected by serious and rare diseases. Supported initiatives may include patient and caregiver education, community resources and peer support, patient-driven research and engagement, and public disease awareness campaigns.
