Description
Novartis Patient Education Grants support nonprofit patient advocacy organizations in educating and helping patients, caregivers, and the public in therapeutic areas of interest to the company. The program supports education that is independent of commercial bias and non-promotional, with the goal of meeting patient needs through education and support.
Supported activities include disease awareness initiatives, live events, web-based education, print and media materials, newsletters, websites, and seminars. The program covers both oncology and non-oncology topics, including general education for patients with cancer or rare diseases and certain non-therapeutic-area-specific education. Treatment-specific education and activities involving or geared predominantly toward healthcare professionals are not accepted. Therapeutic areas of interest are subject to change.
