Description
The Patricia D. Klingenstein Grants Program is administered by the Sadie & Harry Davis Foundation, part of Klingenstein Philanthropies. It supports organizations addressing the physical, mental, and social health and well-being of Maine children from birth through age 18. Priority goes to children from low-income families, under-resourced communities, and other minoritized populations with limited supports, including diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds and families living in poverty.
The program considers general operating support, program grants, capacity building, challenge grants, and matching grants. Successful applicants typically demonstrate strong track records and creative approaches grounded in data, theory, best practices, or evaluation methods. Oral health proposals are excluded, and capital grants are generally not expected.
