Description
Coordinated by the Wyoming Arts Council, this annual fellowship supports creative writing and journalism that demonstrates serious inquiry into the Greater Yellowstone region. It seeks work that explores the region’s natural and societal significance, including the intersections of science, education, conservation, and current events.
The selected fellow is expected to create or complete work ready for publication or production and may be invited to give public presentations. Established in 2019 by Earle Layser in memory of Pattie Layser, the fellowship encourages storytelling through words and images that deepens understanding of the region.
