The Pearsall Fellowship in Naval and Maritime History, funded by the Alan Pearsall Bequest and hosted at the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), provides two one-year postdoctoral Visiting Fellowships annually. The fellowship is open to research on any aspect of naval and maritime history, anywhere in the world, from the fall of the Roman Empire to the present day.
