Description
The Brown Advance-K Scholar Development Program is an intensive, year-long initiative designed to empower emerging investigators from Brown University, the University of Rhode Island (URI), or affiliated hospital systems. Up to 10 selected scholars participate in bi-weekly sessions focused on mastering grant writing (with emphasis on NIH K-series and VA/Foundation CDAs), developing mentorship teams, refining research projects and training plans, and building connections within a vibrant academic network. The program's primary goal is to equip participants with the skills, resources, and support required to successfully submit competitive career development award proposals.
