Description
The International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research’s Pediatric Oral Health Research Group established this award to encourage junior faculty members or scientists to pursue research on the oral health of children and adolescents. It recognizes general excellence in pediatric oral health research, demonstrated through an abstract, poster, or oral presentation.
The group’s current Executive Committee evaluates applications through a judging panel convened by the group president. Selected finalists discuss their research with judges during a presentation session at the IADR General Session. Final assessment considers the quality of the presentation and responses to questions, alongside the award’s emphasis on research excellence.
