Description
This award recognizes and promotes excellence in research focused on the oral health of children and adolescents by junior faculty members or scientists. Administered by the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group of the International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR), the award is based on the quality of research as demonstrated by an abstract, poster, or oral presentation at the IADR General Session. Finalists are selected by a judging panel and are required to present their work and respond to questions at the session. The winner receives a certificate and a $1,500 cash prize.
