The Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) and Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) jointly support innovative research into childhood skin and joint diseases while developing the next generation of investigators. The program seeks to address unanswered questions across pediatric rheumatology, dermatology, and immunology through high-impact research and cross-disciplinary teams.
Research may address juvenile arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, dermatomyositis, morphea, or shared mechanisms affecting these and other conditions involving skin and joints. Clinical, translational, and basic/foundational studies are considered, including investigations of pathogenic pathways, disease-activity biomarkers, and multidisciplinary therapies. Priority goes to projects benefiting both skin and joints, led by teams with expertise in pediatric rheumatology and dermatology. Clinical studies and basic research receive preference.
