Description
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Peer Review and Mentoring Grant supports the development of peer assistance and mentoring programs for beginning teachers in Wisconsin public schools. It funds technical assistance, training, and locally organized supports that help districts provide the mentoring and ongoing professional learning required during educators’ first three years.
Projects may support mentor training, classroom observation, coaching conversations, and program development. The program aims to strengthen sustained support for new teachers and their instructional practice. Activities can also support other aspects of comprehensive induction, including work with school leaders and other educator groups, when connected to the peer review and mentoring program.
