Description
The Pembroke Seminar Graduate Student Fellowships are administered by Brown University’s Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women. They provide an enhanced context for advanced doctoral students to develop scholarly work within an interdisciplinary research community. The fellowship centers on research in progress, giving students an opportunity to share scholarship while it is still taking shape rather than only presenting completed work.
Graduate fellows join conversations with Pembroke Center Faculty Fellows, Postdoctoral Fellows, Undergraduate Fellows, and distinguished Visiting Fellows. Through presentations and critique, fellows receive feedback from this community and develop their scholarship through interdisciplinary exchange.
