The Pennsylvania Creative Districts program, led by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, is designed to help communities transform walkable, culturally rich areas into recognized creative districts that foster economic growth, local pride, and sustainable revitalization. The program offers multi-year funding, technical assistance, statewide promotion, peer networking, and formal designation to communities that demonstrate readiness and commitment to developing a creative district. Emphasis is placed on inclusive planning, asset mapping, and long-term action planning to ensure that each district reflects and strengthens the unique identity and creative assets of its community.
