Description
The P.E.O. Scholar Awards are one-time, competitive, merit-based awards designed to recognize and encourage academic excellence and achievement by women enrolled in doctoral-level programs at accredited institutions in the United States or Canada. The award provides partial financial support for study and research, and is intended for women who have demonstrated the potential to make significant contributions in their fields, including but not limited to academics, scientific research, medicine, law, the arts, economics, history, government, and related areas.
