People and Places supports organisations in Wales with community-led projects that bring people together, help young people thrive, improve health or make communities more environmentally sustainable.

Description
People and Places is run by the National Lottery Community Fund to support projects that work closely with people and communities in Wales. Communities may be connected by a shared identity, interest or experience, or by living in the same area. Projects should be accessible, respond to issues that matter locally, and involve communities in development, design and delivery.
The programme supports work that builds on communities’ strengths, skills and experiences, understands existing local activity and fills a gap. Projects must consider their environmental impact and contribute to at least one of four community missions. Medium and large grants can help organisations adapt to change or challenges and fund capital work, including land, buildings, vehicles and refurbishments. Medium grants can also support planning a capital project.
