    Description

The Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation (PERF), in partnership with the Child Neurology Society (CNS), offers the Elterman Research Grant as one of two Career Development Research Grant opportunities for early-stage investigators. The program supports clinical or basic science research by a child neurologist or developmental pediatrician early in their academic career, providing two years of research support as part of a career development program.

Despite the foundation’s special interest in pediatric epilepsy, Elterman-funded research does not need to focus on epilepsy. Research activities supported by the award are intended to take place at sites in the United States or Canada. Proposals may include international programs or sites, provided the applicant holds an appointment at a U.S. or Canadian institution where the proposed research will be conducted.
