    Description

The Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation (PERF) SPARK Grant provides bridge support to Early-Stage Investigators initiating research careers in pediatric neurology. It addresses the gap between an unsuccessful career-development award application and resubmission, helping investigators strengthen their proposals while continuing their research careers.

The program is specifically for investigators reapplying for NIH K08 or K23 Career Development Awards or the CNCDP-K12 Career Development Program. Its goal is to support the next generation of pediatric neurology investigators during this stage of career development, maintaining research continuity as they prepare for renewed consideration for career-development funding.
