The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) Performing Arts grant is designed to foster creativity and advance the performing arts sector in the Arab region. The program provides financial support for the production, presentation, and dissemination of classical, folk, and contemporary theater and dance performances, as well as performance art, festivals, public interventions, and site-specific works. The grant also covers training and workshops in playwriting, acting, directing, dancing, and choreography. Funding is available for both the research/development and production phases of eligible projects.
AFAC aims to enable diverse artistic expressions, promote audience engagement, and strengthen the cultural landscape across the Arab world. The program is open to a wide range of applicants, including individuals, teams, collectives, and institutions whose projects are linked to the Arab region.
