Description
The Wyoming Arts Council’s Performing Arts Fellowships are awards of merit for individual artists whose work demonstrates exceptional skill and creativity. Established in 1990, they recognize both the creation and performance of work in Music and Theatre/Dance. Music includes composition and performance across instrumental, vocal, electronic, folk, traditional, and other genres. Theatre/Dance includes dance, choreography, theatre, musical theatre, storytelling, directing, and technical theatre design.
The council works with recipients to find a venue or showcase where they can share their work publicly. It placed the fellowships on temporary hiatus in May 2025 because of funding limitations and asks artists to check the program page for reopening updates.
