This fellowship supports the continuing education and professional development of board-certified perfusionists (or international equivalents) by enabling them to travel to another institution to learn unique techniques, simulation approaches, and innovative technologies in cardiovascular perfusion. The award aims to foster the advancement of cardiothoracic surgery patient care at the recipient’s home institution. Recipients are expected to demonstrate a strong record of training, leadership, and achievement, and must have a position at an institution or group practice that encourages ongoing educational growth in cardiovascular perfusion.
