Funds research to advance labour inclusion and social protection for persons with disabilities across the life course.

--- ## Description This European Commission call supports research and innovation projects focused on improving the social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labour market and throughout their life course. Projects are expected to generate high-quality, disaggregated data for policymakers, develop scalable and person-centred interventions for labour inclusion, and create innovative policy approaches to social protection. Research topics include: - Barriers to employment for persons with disabilities - Impact and efficacy of policy measures (e.g., quotas, positive discrimination, employment targets) - Role of employers and good practices for inclusion - Use of accessible digital services and assistive technologies, including AI - Transition from supported/sheltered employment to the open labour market - Risks of poverty and the "benefit trap" due to insufficient participation and protection - Harmonized data collection using Eurostat and international standards Applicants are strongly encouraged to involve persons with disabilities, their representative organizations, relevant stakeholders, and ensure harmonized, internationally standardized data collection. --- ## Due Dates - Full application deadline: September 23, 2027 (17:00 Brussels time) --- ## Funding Amount - Each project may request between €3,000,000 and €4,000,000. - Up to 3 projects are expected to be funded under this topic in 2027. - Consortia must typically include at least three independent legal entities, each established in a different eligible country. - Involvement of persons with disabilities and their organizations, stakeholders, policymakers, public authorities, and civil society is strongly encouraged. -
