Description
The Pediatric Endocrine Society (PES) Research Fellowship Grants support the final year of research training for highly qualified pediatric endocrinology fellows preparing for careers in academic pediatric endocrinology. Both clinical and basic research projects are eligible. The program combines support for research of intrinsic importance with fellowship training, research mentorship, and a local environment suited to the fellow’s project and academic development.
Review emphasizes research significance, innovation, the appropriateness of the approach and project for the fellow, and mentoring and institutional support. Each year, the PES Human Growth Foundation Research Fellowship Grant recognizes one outstanding project focused on growth, bone, or rare general endocrine disorders. PES encourages applicants who reflect the diversity of its membership.
