The Peter J. Dunn Awards for Green Chemistry & Engineering, presented by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable, honor individuals or teams who have made exceptional contributions to green chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry. The awards spotlight innovative approaches to the synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) or intermediates, as well as advancements in reaction conditions and process technologies that demonstrate significant improvements in sustainability, safety, and efficiency. Submissions should highlight meaningful-scale accomplishments, such as reductions in process mass intensity, waste, hazardous chemicals, or improvements in robustness and environmental impact. The goal is to recognize and inspire impactful, non-routine innovations that advance the field of sustainable pharmaceutical chemistry.
