Description
The Peter R. D’Agostino Research Travel Grants are administered by the Cushwa Center at the University of Notre Dame. The program supports scholars conducting research in Roman archives for projects on U.S. Catholic history. Its purpose is to facilitate the study of the American past from an international perspective.
Research travel and the use of Roman archival resources are central to the program’s focus. The grants connect a subject rooted in the United States with historical sources held in Rome, supporting the study of American Catholic history through archival work outside the country. Applications are welcome from scholars both within Notre Dame and outside the University.
