The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), sculptor George Petrides, and the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) partner to offer a fully funded, three-month residency in Brooklyn. Funded by Petrides, the program selects one Greek visual artist through an open call, providing time, space, and support to develop projects while engaging with New York City’s art world.
The residency emphasizes cross-cultural exchange, collaboration, professional development, and public engagement with contemporary art. The resident joins an international community of artists and curators, with access to a private studio, visiting critics, cultural field trips, gallery walks, social gatherings, and Fall Open Studios. Optional NYFA programs address presenting work, portfolio preparation, fundraising, and artists’ legal and financial questions.
