Key Information: Both the institution and PI must be based in an eligible country; only accepted concepts advance to full proposals.

    Description

Pfizer’s competitive research grant program supports interventional Investigator Sponsored Research generating clinical evidence for atimociclib combination approaches in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer and/or HER2+ breast cancer. Priorities include post-adjuvant CDK4/6 inhibitor recurrence biology, HR+/HER2- metastatic combination strategies, and HER2+ signal-seeking studies.

The program seeks clinical translational research illustrating genomic profiles and treatment strategies after adjuvant CDK4/6 inhibitor progression, studies exploring atimociclib’s clinical utility in selected HER2+ patients, and combinations with existing or emerging standards of care in HR+ metastatic disease. Early breast cancer studies may be considered when sufficient supporting data justify research in a potentially curative setting. Pfizer makes funding decisions through internal review; investigators remain responsible for the independent study’s design, implementation, sponsorship, and conduct.
