--- ## Description The Pfizer Emergent Leader Award, administered by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Women Chemists Committee and sponsored by Pfizer, honors up to eight graduate students (second year or above) or postdoctoral researchers conducting research in organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, or chemical biology. Awardees receive a $1,500 travel stipend to attend and present their research at a dedicated symposium during the ACS Spring Meeting, and are recognized at key Women Chemists Committee events. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: **July 15, 2025 (no later than 11:00 p.m. ET)** - Applications open: April 1, 2025 --- ## Funding Amount - **$1,500 stipend** per awardee to cover travel expenses for the ACS Spring Meeting. - Up to **eight (8) awards** are given each year. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be: - In their **second year or higher of graduate studies** _or_ a **postdoctoral researcher**. - Conducting research in **organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, or chemical biology**. - Only **U.S. citizens and permanent residents** are eligible. - Previous recipients of this award are **not eligible**. --- ## Application Process - Applications are submitted online through the [ACS application portal](https://fs7.formsite.com/vatz5F/wccpfizeraward/index). - Required materials: - Resume or C.V.
