--- ## Description This award recognizes up to eight outstanding graduate students (second year and above) and postdoctoral researchers who are conducting research in organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, or chemical biology. Recipients present their research at an awards symposium during the ACS Spring Meeting, receive a $1,500 stipend to support travel expenses, and are honored at several networking and recognition events during the meeting. The program aims to highlight emerging leaders in the chemical sciences and foster professional growth and visibility within the field. --- ## Due Dates - May 15, 2026: Full application deadline (no later than 11:00 p.m. ET) --- ## Funding Amount - Each awardee receives a $1,500 stipend to cover ACS Spring Meeting travel expenses. - Up to 8 awards are given annually. - Funding is a one-time travel award; no renewals. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be in their second year or above of graduate studies, or be postdoctoral researchers. - Research must be in one or more of the following areas: - Organic chemistry - Synthetic methodology - Total synthesis - Medicinal chemistry - Computational chemistry - Chemical biology - Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible. - Previous recipients of this award are ineligible. --- ## Application Process - Applications open April 1, 2026. - Submit the following materials (PDF format only; no embedded documents): - Resume or C.V.
