Description
The Pfizer Emergent Leader Award is offered by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and sponsored by Pfizer and the ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC). It recognizes up to eight emerging researchers working in organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, or chemical biology.
The award combines recognition of research with travel support for the ACS Spring Meeting, where recipients present their work at a dedicated awards symposium. Awardees are also recognized at the Awards Symposium Reception, Women in the Chemical Enterprise Networking Breakfast, WCC “Just Cocktails” reception, and WCC Luncheon.
