--- ## Description The Pfizer Emergent Leader Award, administered by the ACS Women Chemists Committee, honors up to eight exceptional graduate students (second year and above) and postdoctoral researchers working in organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, or chemical biology. Awardees receive a $1,500 stipend to support travel to the ACS Spring Meeting, where they will present their research at a dedicated symposium and be recognized at multiple ACS events, including networking receptions and luncheons. The award aims to highlight emerging leaders and foster their professional development within the chemical sciences. --- ## Due Dates - July 15, 2026: Full application deadline (no later than 11:00 p.m. ET) --- ## Funding Amount - Each awardee receives a $1,500 stipend to cover travel expenses to the ACS Spring Meeting. - Up to eight individuals are selected annually. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be in their second year or higher of graduate studies, or be postdoctoral researchers. - Research must be in one or more of the following areas: - Organic chemistry - Synthetic methodology - Total synthesis - Medicinal chemistry - Computational chemistry - Chemical biology - Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible. --- ## Application Process - Applications open April 1, 2026. - Required materials: - Resume or C.V.
