Description
The Pfizer-Showell Award, administered by the American Association of Immunologists (AAI), recognizes the professional promise of an early-career investigator by helping with travel to the AAI annual meeting to present research. Supported through an endowment from Henry J. Showell and Pfizer, Inc., it provides meeting travel assistance rather than funding to conduct a research project.
Selection is based on career progress and an outstanding abstract selected for podium presentation in a Block Symposium. The recipient will be recognized and presented with an award certificate during an awards ceremony at IMMUNOLOGY2027.
