Description
This scheme funds a full PhD programme focused on dementia and neuroscience research. It provides support for a stipend (aligned with UKRI rates), PhD tuition fees at the Home rate, and up to £15,000 per annum for research and travel costs, for up to four years. The scheme encourages both national and international secondments as part of doctoral training, aiming to foster high-quality research and training environments. Applications must be submitted by prospective supervisors (not students), and may include a named student or recruit one after funding is awarded (subject to approval). The scholarship is intended for new, full PhD programmes and cannot be used to fill funding gaps for students already in progress or partially funded.
