Description
This scheme funds the full costs of a PhD studentship in dementia research, including a stipend in line with UKRI rates, Home-rate tuition fees, and up to £15,000 per year for research and travel expenses for up to four years. The program is designed to support supervisors and research teams at UK academic or research institutions to train the next generation of dementia scientists. National or international secondments are encouraged, and projects must align with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s remit, focusing on the causes, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of dementia. The scheme aims to foster high-quality, impactful research and offers flexibility regarding project start dates.
