Description
The Presbyterian Health Foundation (PHF) Bridge Grant Program provides short-term research support to University of Oklahoma Health Campus (OUHC) faculty whose extramural proposals were reviewed and scored but not funded. It is part of the PHF Research Grant Program, a collaboration between PHF and OUHC established in 2014 to help campus researchers compete for outside funding.
Bridge grants allow investigators to address scientific issues raised in peer-review critiques, generate preliminary data, and prepare stronger revised applications. They can also sustain essential laboratory functions while investigators await funding decisions. Eligible prior applications include those submitted to agencies such as NIH, DoD, PCORI, and ARHQ.
