Description
This pilot call supports master’s thesis projects offered by and implemented with SMART Photonics. It gives students hands-on experience in an industrial research and innovation environment while addressing real-world challenges in photonics and related digital technologies. Projects must align with Phortify’s thematic areas and objectives.
Phortify is a European Commission-funded project dedicated to enhancing and harmonising photonics education and training across Europe. Its funding framework aims to widen participation and build a more inclusive community of future photonics professionals. The thesis grants contribute to living, mobility and other study-related expenses. Phortify launches, administers and pays this cascade funding in its own name and under its own responsibility.
