Description
Missouri Technology Corporation’s Physical Infrastructure Grant Program supports the facilities and resources entrepreneurs need to launch and grow businesses across Missouri. Developed following the Catalyzing Innovation Report, the competitive program expands MTC’s earlier infrastructure support. A pilot began in spring 2023, followed by the full program in 2024.
The program prioritizes flexible, below-market-rate commercial space where entrepreneurs lack access to co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms, or high-speed internet. It also supports specialized facilities and services otherwise unavailable locally, including wet labs and greenhouses for emerging biotech and agtech companies. Community and regional entrepreneurship centers are another priority. Funding supports infrastructure operations and improvements rather than programmatic activities, with proposals assessed for alignment, feasibility, economic impact, and long-term sustainability.
