Key Information: Applicants need two years’ consecutive Society membership and three years of assured funding in a teaching-focused position.
The Physiological Society’s Education and Teaching Award supports members developing new educational resources or conducting publishable educational research that addresses a key question in physiological education. Projects must bring a novel approach to physiology teaching, reflecting the Society’s commitment to innovation and excellence in its education and teaching community.
The programme particularly supports early-career members starting on a teaching track. Collaborative projects between higher education institutions and with the Society are encouraged, and justified contributions to larger projects are possible. Resources developed through the award must be available to the Society for wider dissemination and suitable for its member-only Training Hub. Project outputs cannot be used for commercial gain.
