The Physiological Society’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Award supports members conducting pilot studies, developing new techniques, or undertaking work needed to finalise a project. It also supports activities that promote knowledge transfer and impact, and can part-fund larger projects where justified. Applications must be physiological in nature.
Knowledge exchange projects may test the practical application of research, provide insights into a new area of study, or build knowledge of practical problems useful for teaching. Through this award, the Society aims to showcase the variety and value of knowledge exchange activity to its members. Supported work can include experimental consumables, animal costs, and small equipment, including consumables for projects undertaken by PhD, MRes, or summer students.
