Description
Pilot Health Phase 1 is the first stage of a two-stage Research Council of Norway scheme for healthcare innovation. It supports R&D addressing identified needs of patients, citizens, or public healthcare services. Public and private actors collaborate on technologies, processes, products, or services that can make care more sustainable while creating value for Norwegian business and industry.
Projects must plan for implementation, commercialisation, and scaling in Norway and internationally, and describe measurable benefits for both healthcare services and companies. The call prioritises coordination between primary and specialist care, prevention and coping, support for living at home longer through digital follow-up or home hospital services, and emergency preparedness. Users should help assess needs, test solutions, and plan deployment.
