Description
Pilot Health, administered by the Research Council of Norway, supports innovation processes based on recognised needs of patients, citizens and public healthcare services. Public and private actors jointly develop innovative technologies, processes, products and services that can reach users more quickly. Healthcare-service and industry needs must be equally represented, with solutions developed for Norwegian and international markets.
Projects must combine R&D with a credible pathway to implementation, commercialisation and scaling. They should deliver safe, equal, personalised, high-quality healthcare without increasing the overall burden on services, society or the environment. Applications must quantify benefits for both public and private sectors through measurable indicators, such as resource savings, quality improvements, patient benefit and market opportunities. User perspectives should inform needs assessment, development testing and deployment.
