Description
The Pilot Project Grant at Western Washington University (WWU) is designed to seed innovative projects that have the potential to launch new, long-term directions in research, creative expression, or scholarship. The program aims to enrich WWU’s scholarly and creative portfolio by encouraging principal investigators to pursue novel lines of inquiry that hold significant value for their disciplines and promise lasting impact. Proposals from all disciplines are welcome, including those not traditionally associated with sponsored research. Supported activities include proof-of-principle work, planning for new ventures, and gathering preliminary data for interdisciplinary collaborations.
