Description
The Pilot Project Grant at Western Washington University (WWU) is designed to catalyze innovative, early-stage research, creative work, or scholarly activity that can lead to new and enduring academic directions. The program offers up to $5,000 per project and is open to faculty and staff from all disciplines. The grant aims to enrich WWU’s scholarly and creative portfolio by supporting proof-of-principle activities, planning for new ventures, and interdisciplinary collaborations that have the potential for significant and lasting impact. Projects need not necessarily aim for extramural funding, though they may do so. The program encourages applications from disciplines not traditionally connected to sponsored research.
