Description
Wyoming INBRE’s Developmental Research Project Program supports significant, innovative biomedical research at the University of Wyoming through tiered funding. Pilot Project Type-1 awards help investigators develop promising projects that are not yet ready for Research Project-level support, enter new biomedical research areas, extend active work, or sustain productive research between grants.
The program pairs research support with faculty mentorship and opportunities to train students in investigators’ laboratories. It works with Wyoming INBRE’s Administrative Core, Data Science Core, student programs, and statewide network outreach to strengthen biomedical research and the workforce. Expected outcomes include at least one manuscript and one grant submission, alongside presentations and further research funding.
