Description
Wyoming INBRE’s Pilot Projects Type-2 (PP-2) Awards are part of its Developmental Research Project Program, which provides tiered support for significant, innovative biomedical research at the University of Wyoming. PP-2 awards are intended for research-active biomedical faculty at any career stage and place particular emphasis on meaningful training and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students, including PhD students, in faculty laboratories.
The program also mentors supported faculty and works alongside Wyoming INBRE’s research cores, student programs, and statewide outreach. Expected outcomes include publications, presentations, grant submissions and awards, and growth of Wyoming’s biomedical workforce.
