Description
BARD’s Pioneer Funding Track supports applied agricultural research that opens new directions, develops pioneering concepts, or offers novel solutions to critical challenges. Projects must address an agricultural issue, produce tangible results with clear practical benefits in both the United States and Israel, and explain the potential for follow-up development.
The track welcomes work across agricultural engineering, animal health and production, aquaculture, crop health and production, soil and water resources, renewable resources, food products, and agricultural economics. BARD emphasizes innovation, scientific merit, potential impact on agricultural knowledge or practices, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
