Description
The Pipeline Dual Training Grants program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry in partnership with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, funds Minnesota employers and training providers to deliver dual-training programs. These programs blend structured on-the-job training with related classroom instruction, enabling employees to earn industry-recognized degrees, certificates, or credentials. The grants are designed to address workforce needs in key Minnesota industries by aligning training with occupational competency standards developed by industry stakeholders.
Eligible industries include advanced manufacturing, agriculture, child care, health care services, information technology, the legal cannabis industry, and transportation. Funding covers tuition, fees, books, materials, and select trainee support costs.
