Description
The American Chemical Society (ACS) administers the Pittcon Travel Grant to help early-career analytical chemists from developing countries participate in the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy. ACS has worked with Pittcon and the Wallace Coulter Foundation on conference participation since 1995, with travel support funded by Pittcon and its sponsoring organizations.
The grant helps chemists working in industry, government, and academia attend conference activities and a short course relevant to their professional development. Applicants are asked to explain how specific activities will benefit them and how they will use the experience after the conference.
