Description
The Jim and Linda Pivarnik Women’s Health, Sport & Physical Activity Travel Award provides financial support to help ACSM members present research or clinical work focused on women’s health, sport, or physical activity at the ACSM Annual Meeting. The award aims to encourage and elevate research and clinical care centered on women, and is funded through donations to the Women’s Health, Sport & Physical Activity Fund. Recipients are expected to attend the Josephine L. Rathbone & Barbara L. Drinkwater Named Lecture at the meeting and are encouraged to participate in related ACSM events.
