Description
Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation’s Planning and Technical Assistance (PTA) Grant Program supports organizational improvements that help nonprofits advance their missions and better serve local residents. The program focuses on long-term effectiveness, diversity, and governance, with preference for work aligned with the foundation’s strategic priorities and projects benefiting underserved communities.
Supported projects include consultant-led strategic planning, facilitated board listening sessions on roles and responsibilities, organizational assessments, and technical assistance training in finance, human resources, and fundraising. Grants may also support training for current staff to implement technology such as customer relationship management systems, websites, and databases. Intended outcomes include clearer strategic direction, stronger governance, improved systems, increased staff or board capacity, enhanced financial management, and strengthened diversity, equity, and inclusion.
