Description
The NFL Foundation’s Player Foundation Grant recognizes and supports the charitable work of current and former NFL players with nonprofit organizations around the country. It supports charitable programs, activities, and events through players’ own nonprofit organizations or recognized nonprofits where they work full time. The program connects the Foundation’s community support efforts with NFL players’ philanthropic work.
This is supplemental support rather than a matching grant or a basis for an organization’s operations. Applicants must be able to plan and execute their charitable work regardless of whether they receive an award. The program is restricted to established, tax-exempt organizations, with additional requirements for former players and players who have established donor-advised funds at community foundations.
