Description
This grant program, also known as the Pump & Plug Program, provides financial assistance to eligible owners of up to six regulated underground storage tanks in Pennsylvania. The goal is to prevent environmental pollution by supporting activities such as the pumping and disposal of regulated products, tank cleaning, and grouting fill pipes for tanks placed in temporary closure. The program is intended for tanks that have not been upgraded to meet current federal and state technical requirements, reducing the risk of soil and groundwater contamination.
